Role Overview

Job Description

Vintage Base Camp is currently looking for a creative individual with experience in welding and metal fabrication. Since our projects are works of art, we are looking for creative individuals who may also have experience with welding (mig or tig welding). The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving and critical thinking.  

40 hours weekly 

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 (compensation rate based on experience)

7 paid vacation days and 5 paid holidays

Duties

The ideal candidate will:

  • Weld Aluminum with a mig. spool gun or Tig, Weld stainless steel, weld and fabricate mild steel

  • Be able to work 40 hours per week

  • Have the ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending

  • Have the ability to climb ladders, bend or stand for long periods of time. 

  • Have the ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

  • Have the ability to work independently or on a team

  • Be flexible and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work with power tools, air tools and welding equipment

  • Must be able to work outside or in an un-climate controlled environment.

  • Good hand-eye coordination.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to understand and communicate information.

  • Ability to read a tape measure and use various power and hand tools.

  • Basic computer skills

  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
