Role Overview
Job Description
Vintage Base Camp is currently looking for an individual with experience in plumbing with residentual, Recrational vehicals or Vans. We will provide hands-on training. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving and critical thinking. We repair, restore, and renovate late model and vintage Airstream trailers, and other vintage trailers/campers, focusing on trailers from the 1940s - 1970s.
Electrician
40 hours weekly
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 (compensation rate based on experience)
7 paid vacation days and 5 paid holidays
Duties
The ideal candidate will:

Be able to work 40 hours per week

Have the ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending

Have the ability to climb ladders, bend or stand for long periods of time.

Have the ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Have the ability to work independently or on a team
-
Be flexible and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
-
License or Certifications: Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Minimum 1-year experience in the RV, automotive or carpentry industry with a emphasis on repairs and installations is desired.

Hands on experience in construction/carpentry.

Experience with hitch work and brake controls.

Must be able to work outside or in an un-climate controlled environment.

Good hand-eye coordination.
-
Attention to detail.
-
Electrical experience.

Ability to understand and communicate information.

Ability to read a tape measure and use various hand tools.

Willing to work weekends as needed.

Basic computer skills
