Vintage Base Camp is currently looking for experienced.

Tiny living, vans, over landing, mobile activation sites

We are seeking candidates for a drafter position for immediate hire on a full-time basis. Successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a range of different dwelling and activation project types at various sizes. Projects include both commercial and residential types. This is an excellent opportunity for a drafter working to gain exposure to tiny living, vans life, over landing and mobile activation sites. A qualified candidate will gain knowledge in the area of tiny-living and over landing. Will be able to understand basic interior construction. Will be able to specify correct dimensions so that shop technicians are able to build products from their drawings. Candidates need to be able to produce technical drawings based on architectural drawings or rough sketches and specifications. The job will also include website and social media maintenance. Will have or gain knowledge in Website builders, such as Wix. Will update website regularly with provided content. Social media duties will include content development and regular posting across platforms. Will have the ability to take on assigned tasks and related tasks as needed. Hourly rate commensurate with experience.

40 hours weekly 

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 (compensation rate based on experience)

7 paid vacation days and 5 paid holidays

Duties

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to work 40 hours per week

• Meet with clients to provide interior design consultation

• Occasionally meet delivery trucks to receive inventory

• Follow up on orders placed by designer for jobs and provide clients with a weekly update

• Assist with client meetings to include, taking photos, notes, space planning and measurements

• Curate all design drawings

• Navigate and post on social media sites (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

• Navigate and edit a Wix website

• Navigate Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

• Other responsibilities as they arise

Qualifications

​MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous interior design experience is preferred but not required

• Works well with other teammates

• Highly organized

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Flexible

• Creative Eye

• Quick learner

• Ability to work alone without supervision
