Role Overview

Job Description

Vintage Base Camp is currently looking for a creative individual with woodworking experience, either professionally or as a hobbyist.  We will provide hands-on training. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving and critical thinking.

We repair, restore, and renovate late model and vintage Airstream trailers, and other vintage trailers/campers, focusing on trailers from the 1940s - 1970s.

40 hours weekly 

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 (compensation rate based on experience)

7 paid vacation days and 5 paid holidays

Duties

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to work 40 hours per week

  • Have hands-on experience with construction/carpentry

  • Have the ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending

  • Have the ability to climb ladders, bend or stand for long periods of time. 

  • Have the ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

  • Have the ability to work independently or on a team

  • Be flexible and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

​MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent

  • License or Certifications: Valid drivers license and good driving record

  • Hands on experience in construction/carpentry.

  • Experience with hitch work and brake controls.

  • Must be able to work outside or in an un-climate controlled environment.

  • Good hand-eye coordination.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to understand and communicate information.

  • Ability to read a tape measure and use various hand tools.

  • Willing to work weekends as needed.

  • Basic computer skills
